Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an experienced warehouse training specialist to support onboarding and ongoing training for distribution center staff. You will lead on-the-job training, safety instruction, and PIT certification while ensuring SOP compliance and progression tracking.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong presentation skills, and the ability to communicate with diverse, multilingual teams. Candidates should be proficient with MS Office and ELM LMS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of training / trainer experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience in operation of and training on powered industrial equipment (PIT).
• Strong ability to communicate training content, including to non-English-speaking associates.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and our learning management system (ELM).
• Experience building dynamic PowerPoint presentations and delivering presentations to groups.

Responsibilities

• Supports orientation training schedules for new and tenured associates.
• Delivers on-the-job training for Ferguson DC associates and safety requirements.
• Executes training for warehouse operations and WMS processes.
• Audits training processes for consistency with SOPs and tracks status.
• Leads PIT training including initial certification, recertification and retraining.
• Mentors associates and collaborates with leadership for improvements.
