Job summary

ADI is seeking a Distribution Center Trainer to lead onboarding, training, and safety activities within our distribution operations. This role works autonomously, mentoring newer staff and serving as a liaison to ensure efficient warehouse performance aligned with departmental goals.

The trainer will conduct orientations, deliver hands-on PIT equipment training, lead safety policy reviews, and manage attendance tracking while supporting non-training warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in logistics or supply chain support roles.
• Proven proficiency in inventory control, material handling, and shipment coordination.
• Experience with distribution center training processes and related documentation.
• Ability to train and guide less experienced employees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management and staffing agencies for new hire orientations and training sessions.
• Provide ongoing training and guidance to new and less experienced staff.
• Present and review safety policies and procedures.
• Deliver hands-on PIT equipment training using the See, Show, Train method.
• Lead facility tours highlighting functions, workflows, and safety zones.
• Train staff on standard workplace procedures (picking, packing, timekeeping, attendance).
• Track training attendance and completion in company systems.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming training environment with weekly engagement.
• Obtain and maintain training, safety, and compliance documentation for new hires.
