Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating mobile/construction equipment preferred.
• Able to perform pre- and post-shift inspections and report maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a pit loader safely and efficiently within company guidelines.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections of work areas and ensure berms/roadways are adequate.
• Conduct pre-shift safety checks on equipment and report needed repairs.
• Maintain safe operations around conveyors, surge piles, and crushers.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance (tires, oil, grease, diesel, hoses).
• Support training of co-workers as needed and assist in other duties as assigned.
