Modigent is seeking a Superintendent - Piping to lead field operations for piping fabrication and installation on commercial mechanical projects. You will supervise crews, ensure code-compliance, and deliver high-quality piping for HVAC, plumbing, and process applications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in piping fabrication/installation for commercial mechanical projects.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Trade certifications (e.g., welding, pipefitting) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fabrication, welding, assembly, and installation of piping systems per blueprints, specs, and codes.
• Manage shop and field crews, including scheduling, material staging, and tool/equipment readiness.
• Enforce strict safety protocols, conduct daily hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and PPE compliance.
• Coordinate with other trades, subcontractors, and project managers for sequencing and conflict resolution.
• Perform quality inspections, pressure testing, and documentation for handover and compliance.
• Troubleshoot fabrication/installation issues, optimize workflows, and minimize waste.
• Mentor pipefitters, welders, and fabricators on best practices and safety.
