Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Southwest seeks a Piping Shop Supervisor to lead fabrication operations in Chandler, AZ. You will direct assembly, QC, safety, and packaging of piping systems and coordinate with pre-construction to optimize spool production and delivery.

The role requires MIG and Stick welding experience, ability to read isometrics/drawings, and strong leadership to mentor staff, schedule work, and ensure conformance to QA/QC standards. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Pipe Fit-up and welding.
• MIG and Stick welding experience or training.
• Ability to read isometrics, drawings, and fabrications.
• Experience using scheduling software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping shop fabrication, QA/QC, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate spool sheets, procurement, and scheduling.
• Maintain weld maps and certification status for welders.
• Inspect items for conformance prior to shipment.
• Mentor staff and oversee productivity and quality.
• Assist estimators/PMs and communicate with customers as needed.
