Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Southwest is seeking a Piping Shop Supervisor in Chandler, AZ to oversee assembly, safety, quality, and packaging of piping fabrication. You will direct prefabricated systems, coordinate delivery to the yard, and assist shipping/receiving as needed.

Responsibilities include QA/QC on all shop produced items, ensuring welding procedures and certifications are current, and mentoring shop staff. Strong leadership and welding background required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Pipe Fit-up and welding (MIG and Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Maxwell cost software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with piping pre-construction personnel on spool sheets for assembly.
• Manage and prioritize work daily/weekly to meet construction schedules.
• Perform QA/QC inspections on products leaving the piping shop.
