Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Southwest Inc. (Chandler, AZ) seeks a Piping Shop Supervisor responsible for all piping fabrication activities, safety, QC, and delivery coordination.

You will plan, direct, and optimize prefabricated systems, support shop tooling, and mentor staff to meet production goals and project schedules. The role requires 5+ years in pipe fit-up and welding (MIG/STICK), strong drawing interpretation, and hands-on leadership to ensure quality and on-time performance across shop

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in pipe fit-up and welding.
• MIG and Stick welding experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and spool sheets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with piping pre-construction personnel on spool sheets for assembly.
• Manage and prioritize work daily/weekly to meet construction schedules.
• Review drawings and ensure information for fabrication is complete.
• Perform regular QA/QC inspections on manufactured items leaving the piping shop.
• Responsible for pressure testing of piping and welds; ensure welding procedures are current.
