TEICON Engineering GmbH / TEICON Projects GmbH seeks a Piping Quality Supervisor / QA/QC Inspector for a Beaumont, Texas project. The role focuses on workshop-based inspection of prefabricated piping spools, ensuring conformance to drawings, specs and codes before release for installation.

You will review welding and NDT docs, coordinate with fabrication contractors, and maintain structured inspection records.

Qualifications

Experience in piping quality and inspection on heavy industrial projects.
Ability to read isometrics, P&IDs, drawings and fabrication docs.
Familiarity with welding procedures, NDT docs and test reports.
Strong detail orientation and ability to document non-conformances clearly.
Ability to coordinate with fabrication contractors and quality teams.

Responsabilités

Perform detailed quality inspections of prefabricated piping spools.
Verify workmanship against drawings, codes and project specs.
Inspect piping components, welds, fittings and spools prior to delivery.
Document and classify defects, communicate issues to fabrication contractor.
Coordinate correction and rework of non-conforming spools and follow up inspections.
Review fabrication and quality docs, including inspection records and NDT reports.
Ensure compliance with welding procedures and project quality requirements.
Maintain inspection records and report on status of spools and deficiencies.
Coordinate with workshop, project quality teams, piping and construction management.
Support clearance of quality issues to release spools for transport and installation.
Participate in quality and technical clarification meetings.
