Job summary

TEICON is seeking an experienced Piping Supervisor for a fixed-term project in the greater Nederland, Texas area. The role involves supervising piping construction on site, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring work aligns with isometrics, layouts, specifications, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a technical education in mechanical/piping engineering or a qualified piping/welding tradesperson with strong supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education or degree in Mechanical, Piping or Process Engineering, or tradesperson with site supervision experience.
• Several years' hands-on experience as Piping Supervisor or Site Supervisor in industrial projects.
• Fluent English; reading and interpreting piping isometrics and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate piping construction activities on site.
• Ensure works follow isometrics, layouts, specs, schedules, and codes.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site crews with daily planning and progress tracking.
• Interface with Mechanical, Welding, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Commissioning teams.
• Monitor installation quality, welding, material traceability, and HSE compliance.
• Support inspection, pressure testing, flushing, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Identify issues and work with engineering to resolve them.
• Provide structured progress reporting to site and project management.
