Job summary

Intertek, a global leader in quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Piping Inspector for Port Arthur, TX. This regular, full-time role involves ensuring project quality plans are implemented, coordinating with engineers and field teams, and overseeing NDE activities to support safe, compliant construction projects.

The candidate should have 10+ years of piping inspection experience, industry certifications, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of piping inspection experience required.
• Industry standard certifications preferred (CWI, API, etc.)
• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite computer skills

Responsibilities

• Capture results of inspection/observations and report in a timely manner.
• Ensure suppliers/contractors have relevant, up-to-date codes, standards, specifications and drawings.
• Interface with discipline and construction engineers, field workers and inspectors professionally.
• Witness and monitor suppliers/contractors work activities, inspection and test per Quality Plan, ITP and QA/QC procedures.
• Review Quality Plan, ITP and QA/QC documentation prior to fabrication/construction work.
• Verify implementation of PTW, LOTO and other safety procedures.
• Schedule and monitor ongoing NDE activities.
• Communicate clearly with team members.
