Job summary

Kiewit’s Industrial District is seeking an experienced Piping Superintendent to lead field teams across self-performed projects, overseeing piping installation and construction on heavy industrial facilities.

Based in Point Pleasant, WV, travel across the United States will be required for project duration; per diem and relocation options are available, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and collaboration with engineering and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in the self-perform construction industry.
• At least 3+ years in a Superintendent role managing piping or mechanical craft employees.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the piping scope of a project as the Superintendent, supervising foremen and piping crafts to meet productivity, safety, quality, and schedule targets.
• Serve as liaison between field engineering and craft; coordinate with PM, CM, and technical teams to address piping challenges.
• Coordinate with other superintendents, subcontractors, inspection agencies, clients, and Kiewit leadership to maintain workflow and schedule alignment.
• Resolve conflicts and scheduling challenges, escalating when needed to project or leadership.
• Contribute to project planning, including schedules, craft labor needs, material quantities, and equipment for piping systems.
• Ensure safety, attendance, workplace conduct, and compliance with Kiewit policies; manage budget expectations and implement cost controls.
