Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in the XX office seeks a Piping/Plumbing Engineer I to support energy-efficient building projects and mentor junior designers.

You will perform load calculations, sizing, layouts, and equipment selections, while contributing to field surveys and shop drawings. As you gain experience, you’ll lead project teams, write specifications, participate in client meetings, and support construction-phase activities in a collaborative, growth‑minded environment with strong

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS Mechanical/Electrical degree.
• GPA 2.5 or higher preferred.
• EIT certification a plus.
• Internship experience in MEP consulting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform load calculations and determine system sizing and layouts.
• Calculate equipment sizes and select equipment.
• Complete field surveys and review equipment shop drawings.
• As you gain experience, lead piping/plumbing project teams and write specifications.
• Participate in client meetings and support construction‑phase work.
