Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Piping General Foreman to lead field teams on mechanical projects and ensure safety, quality and customer satisfaction across sites. The role involves coordinating with trades, managing materials, and training staff while embracing Power Design’s training and tools at multiple project sites.

The ideal candidate will have extensive HVAC/plumbing leadership, relevant licenses, and comfort with construction tech.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Experience with hydronic piping, chillers, boilers, and water-source systems.
• Progressive leadership in mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing fields required.
• Minimum five years managing scope and multimillion-dollar projects.
• Journeyman or master license preferred.
• Familiar with IMC/IPC/IBC, local codes and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of plumbing/HVAC distribution systems is a plus.
• Experience with project management and construction tech tools preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other Power Design sites within Florida as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
• Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and inspectors.
• Coordinate with other trades and general contractor to resolve conflicts.
• Ensure installations meet quality and code standards.
• Manage materials and personnel to meet schedule.
• Adhere to Power Design’s safety and quality standards.
