Comfort Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a Foreman - Piping to lead one or more crews in installing commercial mechanical piping systems, including chilled water and steam. You will translate project requirements into field plans, mentor crew members, and coordinate with project partners.

Reports to General Foreman or Superintendent. The role requires 5+ years of piping leadership in commercial construction, strong planning and safety mindset, and ability to read drawings.

Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years of commercial mechanical piping construction leadership.
• Ability to plan labor, materials, schedules, and lead safe installation work.
• Knowledge of drawings, specifications, codes, testing, and quality standards.
• Experience using mobile devices and standard construction software for drawings and reporting.
• Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead one or more crews on commercial mechanical piping work (piping systems).
• Create daily work plans using drawings, schedules, material status, and constraints.
• Plan manpower, tools, access, prefabrication, deliveries, and work areas.
• Review documents for constructability and escalate RFIs as needed.
• Coordinate sequencing with project management, GC, other trades, vendors.
• Verify installations against drawings and quality checklists; drive corrections.
• Track quantities, labor, schedule status, and material needs; report regularly.
• Coach employees, assign work, document performance, and address issues.
• Lead pre-task planning, safety talks, and incident prevention activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
