Job summary

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a Piping Foreman to oversee quality piping installations on commercial construction projects across Virginia. You will read drawings, prepare BOMs, fabricate and install piping systems, and lead field crews while maintaining a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires versatile site leadership, strong communication, and a valid driver's license. Projects span K-12, university, and healthcare facilities with occasional travel in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Journeyman or Master Card certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills and email/Internet proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret coordinated construction drawings for all trades.
• Prepare Bill of Materials from drawings and blueprints.
• Fabricate and install piping including carbon steel and copper.
• Install piping equipment such as boilers, chillers and pumps.
• Lead and train field staff and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain strong customer relations and clear communication on site.
