Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Estimator-Piping to support lump-sum, unit-rate, and cost-plus estimates for water and wastewater projects, pipelines, pumps, and related facilities. You will review designs, perform quantity takeoffs, and align estimates with work breakdown structures.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant estimating experience.
• Ability to perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimation.
• Experience with Process Pipe and Yard Pipe Systems and/or Electrical and I&C Systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project design scopes and develop quantities from documentation and 3D models.
• Assess missing scope items for a complete estimate package.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost calculations for labor, material, equipment costs.
• Prepare complete and accurate detailed estimates for assigned scopes.
• Align estimates with work breakdown structures and coordinate with design teams.
