Job summary

KIEWIT Industrial Engineering is seeking mid-level piping designers to create 3D equipment models and isometrics for a broad portfolio of EPC projects across North America, using SmartPlant3D or REVIT.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts from conceptual to detailed design, supporting data centers, water and wastewater, and campus utilities, with opportunities for growth in an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting Technology or related field preferred, with 4 years piping design experience.
• Experience with 3D design software including SmartPlant3D or REVIT.

Responsibilities

• Utilize 3D design tools to create accurate piping models and isometrics.
• Design mechanical systems and piping, generating isometrics for industrial facilities.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop layout and equipment GA/3D models.
• Perform design deliverables in accordance with codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Support on-site construction team by addressing RFI’s and providing design solutions.
