Job summary

P&E Constructors is seeking a Piping Designer to support 3D piping layout and routing for industrial plant projects. This is a remote position, and candidates must be located in the United States.

You will develop models with Inventor and AutoCAD Plant 3D, coordinate with ACC and Navisworks, interpret P&IDs and line lists, and ensure constructible, accessible designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of piping design experience in industrial environments.
• Proficiency with 3D piping modeling/layout using Inventor and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for 2D drafting and detailing support.
• Working knowledge of ACC and Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
• Ability to read line lists, P&IDs, and PFDs; interpret piping specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D piping layout and routing within plant models.
• Create and maintain piping models and drawings using Autodesk tools.
• Coordinate model collaboration using ACC and Navisworks.
• Perform equipment nozzle orientation checks and tie-ins.
• Coordinate pipe rack and sleeper layouts with other disciplines.
• Interpret information from line lists, P&IDs, and PFDs for accurate routing.
