Job summary

This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Night shift differential may apply and 5S/OSHA compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of related pipe-fitting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and P&IDs; read measuring devices accurately.

Responsibilities

• Select pipe types and sizes according to drawings and specs.
• Read blueprints, P&IDs, schematics; measure and lay out pipe.
• Cut pipe with saws, torches, and cutters; thread and bend pipe.
• Assemble and install metal and non-metal pipes and components.
• Set up and use MIG welding equipment for pipe fitting.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas; follow safety policies.
