EWI Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer to support pipework and heavy civil works on a major infrastructure project in Asheboro, NC. You will coordinate pipe installation, earthworks, concrete structures and drainage, ensuring quality and safety across the site.

You will review drawings, manage site activities, and liaise with managers, subcontractors and design teams to deliver works efficiently and to specification. Strong measurement, surveying and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in project engineering or site engineering in heavy civil, utilities, infrastructure or major construction.
• Relevant engineering qualification and strong understanding of construction methods.
• Competence in surveying and setting-out equipment; ability to read drawings.
• Proficiency with standard engineering and reporting software; organized and commercially aware.

Aufgaben

• Review drawings, specifications, schedules and technical submissions to identify project requirements.
• Coordinate pipework and heavy civil construction activities in accordance with approved designs and programmes.
• Set out works and oversee surveying, levels, alignments and dimensional control.
• Prepare and review method statements, inspection and test plans, permits and risk assessments.
• Monitor progress, productivity, materials and plant requirements, escalating issues where necessary.
• Work with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical queries and maintain planned delivery.
• Maintain accurate site records, including quality documentation, test results, as-built information and daily reports.
• Support cost control, change management, progress reporting and the preparation of project documentation.
• Promote a positive culture of health, safety, environmental responsibility and quality across the site.
