Job summary

Energy Transfer in Loving, NM is seeking a field technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe, reliable operation.

You will inspect, service, and monitor pipelines and related assets; coordinate with contractors; document tasks and comply with regulatory requirements; and participate in safety programs. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required, with strong organizational and communication skills being essential.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and operate pipelines, valves, pumps, and related equipment in a safe, compliant manner.
  • Perform Damage Prevention activities including patrols, locating pipelines, and marking line crossings.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and complete required documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.).
  • Plan and coordinate work with employees and contractors; communicate with landowners, agencies, and utilities.
  • Participate in safety programs and provide on-call support as needed.
  • Adhere to energy isolation and lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
