Job summary

Energy Transfer in Texas is seeking a skilled technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and the performance of work associated with the operation and maintenance of gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The role requires inspecting and maintaining facilities, coordinating with landowners and contractors, following safety policies, and supporting on-call rotations while upholding regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, filters, pumps, gas compressors, storage tanks, and pump stations.
• Conduct Damage Prevention activities including pipeline patrols and marking pipelines.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and complete required documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
• Plan, organize, and prioritize responsibilities and coordinate with employees and contractors.
• Coordinate with landowners, public agencies, utilities, and other pipeline operators.
• Participate in safety programs, follow policies, and provide on-call support.
