Summary:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator/Pipeline Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment and performing maintenance, repairs, and monitoring of pipeline systems. Experience in pipeline operations, pipeline ROW maintenance, equipment handling, and safety compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Education:
*High school diploma or GED
Required qualifications:
*Valid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving record
*Excellent organizational skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a group environment
*Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement
*Must pass a current DOT physical
*Must possess and maintain a D.O.T. Medical Certificate and meet FMCSA Medical Standards
*Minimum of five years verifiable equipment operating experience
*Must reside within 1 hour of reporting office location

Preferred Qualifications:
*Mechanical aptitude with ability to learn and perform operation and maintenance tasks associated with various types of facilities and equipment
*Proficiency with computers including MS Office applications such as Excel and Outlook as well as other computer-based work training, time reporting, expense reporting, and on-line work applications and documentation
*Certifications in pipeline safety or heavy equipment operation.
*Previous experience in the oil and gas, utilities, or construction industry.
*Previous experience working on slip repairs and geohazards.
