Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an SMT Operator in Plano, TX for 2nd shift. You will operate and set up SMT equipment, inspect assemblies, and ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Class 3 quality standards.

Responsibilities include loading components, verifying placement, inspecting for defects, performing microscope soldering and rework, and following drawings and engineering instructions. IPC/J-STD certifications and vision requirements are required to be met.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related manufacturing/SMT experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions.
• Microscope soldering and SMT programming experience is a plus.
• Must be able to pass IPC/J-STD certifications and vision requirements.

SMT Operator - Plano, TX

Pay: $23.10/hr (2nd Shift)

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Job Summary:

Operate and set up SMT equipment, inspect electronic assemblies, and ensure products meet IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Class 3 quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate SMT machines and equipment.
• Load components, verify placement, polarity, and specifications.
• Inspect products and identify defects or quality issues.
• Perform microscope soldering, touch-ups, rework, and X-ray inspection.
• Follow production documents, blueprints, and engineering instructions.

Pay Details:

$21.00 to $23.00 per hour
