Job summary

Jiffy Lube International, Inc. is seeking an SMT Operator for Garland, TX (2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm, Mon-Fri). The role requires hands-on SMT operation experience with screen printers, pick-and-place, reflow ovens, and AOI equipment.

IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 certification is a plus. Work location is in-person in Garland, TX. Responsibilities include feeder setup, solder paste printing, reflow operation, and identifying SMT components.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Prior Experience as an SMT Operator.
• Able to stand for extended periods during shift.
• Background check may be required.
• Knowledge in Hand Soldering.
• Knowledge in SMT Operation.
• Knowledge in Electronics Manufacturing.
• Knowledge in AOI.
• Knowledge in working in an ESD environment.
• IPC-A-610 knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform component feeder operation and setup.
• Perform solder paste stencil printing and stencil printer operation.
• Operate reflow oven.
• Identify surface mount components.
• Load machine programs and adjust for print/placement improvements.
• Read and understand assembly BOM.
• Verify and meet quality standards.
• Set up, operate and manage SMT line.
• Apply IPC-A-610 standards to improve processes.

Job description

Job Title: SMT OPERATOR

Location: Garland, TX 75041

Hours: 2nd Shift: (3:00pm-11:30pm) Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $23/hr (Depending on Experience)

Looking for motivated individuals with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) operation set up experience. Candidate should be familiar with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly particularly working with SMT equipment such as screen printers, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines.

An understanding of the SMT Assembly Process is required which includes the identification of SMT component packages.

Certification in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 is a plus.

Responsibilities
