Flint Hills Resources in Rosemount, MN is seeking a Summer 2027 Pipeline Reliability Intern to join our Pipelines and Terminals team. This 12-week program balances field and office work with hands-on experience in pipeline reliability and equipment operations.

You will work with the Reliability team, gaining exposure to SCADA-enabled monitoring, field inspections, and project-support activities that improve equipment performance and maintenance strategies.

Competenze

• Enrolled in a 4-year engineering degree program (ME, ChE or EE).
• Eligible for full-time employment during or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Mansioni

• Assist in maintaining the reliability of pipeline assets and related facilities.
• Utilize SCADA and other tools to monitor equipment performance and identify trends.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analyses for equipment issues.
• Support reliability and capital projects including pumps, motors, and valves.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineers, and vendors to improve reliability.
• Conduct field inspections and develop recommendations to improve performance.
• Gain exposure to project planning, execution, and tracking within the pipeline network.
