Job summary

Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Monitoring & Leak Detection Engineer to support remote pipeline operations in the Midwest. You will troubleshoot hydraulic operations, develop analytical models, and help grow real-time leak detection capabilities while reducing false alarms and improving reliability.

The role requires a degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with on-call rotation and project leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent pipeline ops experience.
• Willingness to be on call on rotating schedule.
• Experience managing multifaceted projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support pipeline hydraulic operations.
• Build and manage analytical models to identify equipment failures and detect pipeline releases.
• Develop and support Real-Time Leak Detection models.
• Implement solutions to improve reliability and prevent false alarms in leak detection systems.
• Collaborate with various teams to advance capabilities.
