Job summary

Delek US Holdings is hiring an Operator to manage the flow of oil, natural gas, and other fossil fuels through pipelines. You will work under the Asset Maintenance Manager, coordinating with crew members to ensure safe, compliant operations across field and occasional office environments.

The role emphasizes monitoring equipment, maintaining pipelines, and complying with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting emergency response and maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent combinations may be considered.
  • One or more years as Equipment Operator preferred.
  • Two or more years in Pipeline maintenance/assessment (Required).
  • Valid CDL or ability to obtain CDL; pass DOT Operator Qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors the status of equipment and machinery used to transport other materials.
  • Inspects and repairs the product pipeline.
  • Monitors the flow of products being transported.
  • Adjusts machinery speed for safe operations.
  • Communicates with other operators during transportation operations.
  • Inspects and maintains equipment and machinery as needed.
  • Performs tasks within the Spill Response Team as required.
  • Passes required Operator Qualification testing.

JOB SUMMARY

The Operator will report directly to the Manager of Asset Maintenance; working closely with crew members of the Asset Maintenance Team. Responsible for managing the flow of oil, natural gas, and other fossil fuel materials that circulate through pipelines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • One (1) or more years Experience as a Equipment Operator (Preferred)
  • One (1) or more years Experience of Pipeline Excavation (Preferred)
  • Two (2) or more years Experience in Pipeline maintenance/assessment activities (Required)
  • Required Certifications/Licensures: (Meet and pass DOT Operator Qualifications, Valid driver’s license, Valid CDL or ability to obtain CDL)

  • Hours of Work/Travel: 40 hours with overtime as needed, Must be able to travel, possibly overnight to all DKL assets, Must be able to drive for extended period of time, distance, Utilize hand tools in a safe manner, Ability to be on your feet for several hours a day, Must be available for call out when needed, Work Space: 90% Field, 10% Office, Must be able to work in abnormal weather conditions, Must pass medical evaluation for Emergency Response, Enrolled in respiratory program

  • Passes required OQ (Operator Qualification) testing
