The position requires a high school diploma with 3+ years of experience; preferred is an associate degree with 2+ years in oil and gas operations. Local travel and overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and minimum 3 years demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
• Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum 2 years multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings and inspecting equipment
• Responsible for data analysis and collaboration with others to solve technical or operational problems
• Follows all company policies and applies operating and maintenance procedures
• Maintains records of processes, maintenance, and safety compliance
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs reciprocating engines, compressors, and related equipment
• May travel between Williams locations and work overtime as needed
• Other duties as assigned
