Job summary

Williams is seeking an Operations Technician III to support pipeline operations and maintain facilities with a strong emphasis on safety and data-driven decisions.

You will read drawings, analyze equipment performance, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with permits and company policies across site locations in Louisiana and beyond. The role requires after-hours availability, possible overtime, and travel between Williams locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with at least 3 years in operations.
• Preferred: Associate degree and 2+ years in oil and gas operations.
• Experience reading drawings, maintaining equipment, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings.
• Analyze equipment data and collaborate to solve operational problems.
• Follow company policies and maintenance procedures.
• Adhere to safety requirements to protect people, environment, and assets.
• Maintain records of processes, logs, and preventative maintenance.
• Repair reciprocating engines, compressors, and related mechanical equipment.
• Work after hours, on-call, nights, weekends, and potential travel.
