Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. is seeking an Operations Technician to support pipeline operations, read drawings, analyze data, and ensure safety and compliance across facilities. You will maintain equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and document operations with accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years in a similar role; an associates degree is preferred. Expect after-hours work, OT, and travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years as an operations technician or similar.
• Associates degree and 2+ years of multifaceted operations technician experience in oil and gas preferred.
• Proficiency in PC use, Microsoft Office, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting equipment, and meeting standards/government requirements.
• Analyze data and collaborate with others to solve technical or operational problems.
• Follow Company policies and apply operating and maintenance procedures.
• Learn and adhere to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities and assets.
• Maintain knowledge of site/equipment permits and compliance.
• Complete reports/logs and maintain records of process operations and preventative maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
