Job summary

Williams seeks an Operations Technician to safely maintain equipment, read drawings, support pipeline operations, and analyze data to resolve technical and operational problems. Knowledge of permits and compliance, accurate record-keeping and a focus on safety are keys to success in this role!

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum 2 years related experience.
• Associates or two-year technical degree preferred.
• Experience as a technician in oil and gas industry advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintains equipment and supports pipeline operations; reads/interprets drawings and performs preventative maintenance.
• Analyzes data and collaborates to resolve technical or operational problems.
• Follows company policies and operating procedures; maintains accurate records.
• Gains knowledge of site equipment, permitting, and safety requirements.
• Completes reports/logs and supports shift-based operations as needed.
• Potentially travels between Williams locations and works overtime as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
