Job summary

Delek US is seeking a Pipeline Operator to join the Asset Maintenance team. The role reports to the Manager of Asset Maintenance and works with crew members to manage the flow of oil, natural gas, and other fossil fuels through pipelines.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, inspecting and maintaining pipelines, coordinating with other operators, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; commensurate experience considered.
• Experience with pipeline operations and maintenance is highly desirable.
• DOT Operator Qualification, valid CDL or ability to obtain CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the status of equipment and machinery used to transport other materials.
• Inspects and repairs the product pipeline to ensure integrity.
• Monitors the flow of products being transported and adjusts speed for safety.
• Communicates with other operators during transportation operations.
• Inspects and maintains equipment and machinery as needed.
• Tests composite crude samples throughout the system.
• Unloads rail cars and performs related tasks as required.
• Follows all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Performs safe operation of heavy equipment and supports spill response as needed.
• Participates in excavation safety and OQ testing.
