Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks a field technician to maintain pipelines, equipment, and facilities, ensuring reliable operation of gas and liquid systems. This role focuses on repair, inspection, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements across compressor and pump stations.

You will work with teams, plan outages, manage materials and logs, and participate in safety programs, with on-call rotation and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and operate compressor and pump station equipment.
• Plan and coordinate work with staff and contractors.
• Manage materials, inventory, and scheduling for outages.
• Interpret drawings and OEM manuals in maintenance tasks.
• Maintain logs and regulatory documentation.
• Provide leadership and training to crews as assigned.
• Follow safety policies, perform LOTO and regulatory tasks.
• Respond to on-call operational issues as needed.
