ONE Gas, Inc. is seeking a field-based inspector to oversee pipeline installation, maintenance, and compliance. You will inspect contractor work and assist with tool operation, storing records and reports on inspections, leaks, and orders.

A strong focus on safety and regulatory adherence is essential. Experience with gas pipeline systems and related standards is preferred. Responsibilities include travel to job sites, routine maintenance, and accurate log keeping while ensuring timely reporting

Qualifications

• Two to four years of relevant experience; minimum of one year required.
• Experience with use, function, and maintenance of tools and equipment including access to computer applications.
• Experience with basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Experience with construction and maintenance of transmission and distribution pipeline systems.
• Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations for pipeline construction and safety.
• Ability to read maps, atlas pages, blueprints and job orders.
• Fluent in reading and writing English.

Responsabilités

• Inspect installation, maintenance, and removal work by contractors on pipelines to ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist with operation and maintenance of tools and equipment listed above.
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain logs and generate reports (inspection, leak, job orders, training records, mileage).
• Investigate customer orders and emergency situations (low pressure, leaks, fires).
• Review invoices for accuracy (pricing, materials).
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance; perform additional duties as assigned.
