Job summary

Colonial Pipeline Company is seeking a Project Inspector to ensure safe, compliant execution of pipeline, facility, tank, and related projects. You will coordinate with contractors and internal teams, enforcing safety rules and quality standards on site.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of inspection experience in oil and gas, a valid driver’s license, and readiness to travel up to 75%. DOT regulations and HAZWOPER/ICS readiness are critical.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience as an Inspector in oil and gas preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel up to 75% (long distances, overnight stays).
• Understand pipeline, tank, terminal regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Safety: enforce Life Safety Rules and hazard mitigation.
• Provide oversight for pipeline, facility, and tank projects with minimal supervision.
• Maintain Operator Qualification (OQ) credentials and regulatory training.
• Maintain project documentation accurately and on time.
• Verify calibration of tools and alignment with engineering standards.
• Communicate progress, issues, and updates to stakeholders.
• Support emergency response when needed (HAZWOPER/ICS).
