Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX is seeking an engineering professional to evaluate pipeline segments for eligibility and economic feasibility under the Integrity Management Alternative. You will assess threats, asset characteristics, and business goals, identify and prioritize projects, and monitor regulatory deadlines and program metrics.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 2–3 years of related experience, with US CFR 192 knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

2–3 years of related industry and pipeline integrity engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
US CFR 192 knowledge or understanding of US Federal Pipeline Regulations.

Responsibilities

Evaluate pipeline segments for eligibility and economic feasibility under the Integrity Management Alternative.
Assess integrity threats, asset characteristics, and business goals.
Identify, prioritize, and track projects needed to meet initial and recurring programmatic requirements.
Monitor regulatory deadlines, compliance milestones, and program metrics.
Maintain compliance documentation supporting audit readiness.
Develop procedures, guidance documents, and regulatory interpretations related to the Integrity Management Alternative.
Communicate regulatory interpretations and guidance across the organization.
Facilitate stakeholder discussions involving technical, operational, and regulatory perspectives.
Contribute to continuous improvement of pipeline safety and integrity management.
