Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a skilled technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and related facilities. The role involves repairing compressor and pump station equipment, planning and coordinating work with teams, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in daily operations.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to meet USDOT driver requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving record and ability to be certified as a USDOT driver under FMCSA may be required based on location
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a group environment

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor station or pump station equipment and pipelines to meet production needs and comply with policies
• Plan and coordinate work with employees and contractors to ensure safe, timely, and effective completion
• Provide budgetary information, schedule outages, order materials, maintain inventory, and coordinate resources
• Interpret drawings, schematics, OEM manuals, and other technical resources for assigned tasks
• Maintain records, logs, and documentation as required by procedures and regulators
• Provide training and leadership to develop work crews as needed
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and complete necessary documentation
