Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily operation and maintenance of gas and liquid facilities and pipelines in Harrisburg, SD. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing compressors, pumps, valves, and related equipment to meet throughput targets while following safety and regulatory procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record; USDOT may be required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor station or pump station equipment, plant facilities and pipeline facilities to meet production and throughput goals safely.
• Plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work with employees and contractors for safe, timely completion.
• Provide budgetary information, schedule work and outages, order materials, maintain inventory, and coordinate resources.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, OEM manuals, and other technical resources in performance of assigned work.
• Use hand and power tools in hazardous and non-hazardous environments safely.
• Maintain equipment records, logs, and regulatory documentation.
• Provide training and leadership to develop work crews.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA) and complete required documentation.
• Maintain facilities and work areas in a safe and orderly manner; participate in safety programs.
• Provide on-call support on a rotating basis; comply with safety policies.
• Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
