Job summary

Energy Transfer in Garden City, TX is seeking a Maintenance and Technicians role to support daily gas and liquid pipeline operations. You will inspect, maintain, and repair compressor stations and related equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency across facilities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license, with the ability to work independently or as part of a crew. It involves safety training, documentation, and potential on-call duties inside a demanding

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record; may require USDOT certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to work in a group and independently.
• Proficiency with computers including MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and operate compressor/pump station equipment and pipeline facilities.
• Plan and coordinate work with employees and contractors to ensure safe, timely completion.
• Provide budgetary information, schedule outages, and manage materials/inventory.
• Interpret drawings, OEM manuals, and technical resources for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain records, logs, and documentation per procedures and regulatory agencies.
• Provide training and leadership to develop work crews.
• Maintain safety programs, comply with OSHA/DOT/EPA requirements, and participate in on-call rotations.
