Job summary

Energy Transfer in Haven, KS is seeking a Repairman to perform operations and maintenance with minimal supervision, including troubleshooting and repair of facilities and equipment along the pipeline. The role emphasizes valve function, preventive maintenance, inspections, and coordination during shutdowns, with a full-time schedule and need to travel within about 50 miles.

This is an on-site field position requiring adaptability to harsh conditions.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must possess a current driver’s license.
• Candidate must live within 50 miles of the reporting location.

Responsibilities

• Know function, location and operation of station valves and mainline block valves.
• Lubricate valves following guidelines and perform routine inspections.
• Change compressor valves, spark plugs, fuel hoses and igniters as needed.
• Operate forklift and other power-operated equipment as required.
• Assist in shut-downs of pipeline sections and participate in field maintenance.
• Perform leakage surveys and handle reporting on pipeline equipment.
• Maintain pipeline markers and assist in reporting encroachments.
