Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a field technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and facilities, ensuring safe, compliant operation. The role emphasizes reliability, regulatory awareness, and active safety program involvement.

The successful candidate will coordinate with contractors and external parties, execute energy isolation procedures, and support ongoing operation in a dynamic field environment, including after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work effectively in a group.
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement.
• Proficiency with MS Office and computer-based work applications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate pipelines, valves, filters, pumps, and related equipment safely and reliably.
• Coordinate with landowners, public agencies, contractors, and other pipeline operators.
• Maintain regulatory documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.).
• Plan, organize, and prioritize responsibilities and coordinate work with employees and contractors.
• Provide on-call support and participate in safety programs.
