Job summary

Peoples, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a scheduling professional to develop and maintain master construction project schedules for pipeline construction projects in the Pittsburgh area. You will monitor progress, identify conflicts, and provide weekly status updates to the Project Management team.

Under the PM’s guidance, you will assist with project-specific tasks, reporting, and data entry, coordinating across multiple projects and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture, GIS or related field.
• Understand construction logic and sequencing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS Office tools.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize and schedule work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain schedules and integrated master schedules.
• Integrate multiple project plans into a portfolio-level schedule.
• Identify resource and schedule conflicts and inform stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and provide weekly status updates and reports.
• Identify schedule variances and mitigate with PM team support.
• Prepare presentation packages with scheduling graphics.
• Assist with project tasks, meetings, and data entry.
