Job summary

West Penn Energy Services LLC is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead pipeline construction operations in the field. This hands-on leadership role coordinates crews, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and daily activities from mobilization through completion.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in pipeline construction, can keep a crew productive, make sound field decisions, and delivers safe, quality work on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in pipeline construction or related field.
• Experience leading field crews and overseeing daily field operations.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, alignment sheets, maps and specs.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pipeline construction activities and coordinate work between crews and subcontractors.
• Plan and organize daily work based on schedules, site conditions, manpower, equipment and customer requirements.
• Lead and direct field crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
• Assign work and provide clear direction to employees and crew leaders.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship, and progress to keep projects on schedule.
• Coordinate mobilization, equipment setup, material staging, and demobilization.
• Oversee excavation, pipe installation, welding support, coating, testing, backfill and restoration.
• Review drawings and specifications and ensure compliance with project documents.
