Job summary

Genesis Endeavors in Midland, Texas, seeks an experienced Pipeline Construction Superintendent to oversee daily pipeline installation projects from start to finish. You will lead field crews, coordinate with inspectors and engineers, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance while delivering projects to spec.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to read plans, and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pipeline construction experience with supervisory or superintendent duties.
• Strong knowledge of oilfield pipeline construction and field operations.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
• Must be legally able to work in the United States and able to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pipeline construction activities and field operations.
• Supervise foremen, operators, laborers, welders, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and daily work schedules.
• Ensure pipeline installation, welding, coating, lowering-in, backfilling, hydrotesting, and restoration meet project specifications.
• Monitor production, quality, and job progress to maintain schedules.
• Coordinate with inspectors, company representatives, engineers, and other contractors.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and work scopes to ensure proper execution.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate project status to management.
• Ensure crews properly operate and maintain heavy equipment and construction tools.
• Assist with planning and execution of tie-ins, crossings, bores, and other pipeline construction activities.
• Promote a safe, productive, and professional work environment.

Job description

Responsible for overseeing daily pipeline construction operations from start to completion while ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Supervises field crews, equipment, subcontractors, and production activities while maintaining communication with project management, inspectors, and the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pipeline construction activities and field operations.

• Ensure pipeline installation, welding, coating, lowering-in, backfilling, hydrotesting, and restoration activities meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pipeline construction experience, with supervisory or superintendent experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of oilfield pipeline construction and field operations.
• Experience managing multiple crews and heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, and varying schedules as required by the project.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Knowledge of OSHA and pipeline safety requirements.
• MUST be legal to work in the United States.
