Job summary

Colonial Pipeline Company is seeking a Manager, Pipeline Compliance to lead the compliance program, oversee monitoring, assessments and corrective actions, and drive regulatory excellence across the organization.

You will partner with stakeholders to implement compliant processes, serve as a PHMSA subject matter expert, and guide teams through audits, incidents, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of DOT-PHMSA work experience or pipeline projects/operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of PHMSA regulations in 49 CFR 190, 191, 194, 195, 196 and 199 and API RP.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Safety and Environmental compliance or 5+ years of petroleum pipeline industry experience; government compliance background acceptable.
  • Ability to respond to emergency incidences.
  • ,

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Pipeline Compliance team through performance management and coaching.
  • Establish department priorities aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee compliance monitoring, audits, and documentation.
  • Provide interpretation of regulatory policies to employees and legal.
  • Serve as SME on PHMSA regulations and pipeline safety.
  • Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and information requests.
  • Engage with industry committees to improve compliance practices.
  • Develop processes for controlled corporate documents supporting PHMSA compliance.
  • Represent Colonial as liaison during emergency response events.
