Job summary

DT Midstream seeks an experienced compliance-focused engineer to ensure pipeline systems meet federal, state and local safety regulations. The role collaborates with operations and construction teams to uphold the Operations and Maintenance Plan and drive continuous improvement of pipeline integrity and safety programs.

The position reports to the Senior Manager, Codes and Regulatory and requires travel across the company's footprint, including overnight stays up to ~30%.

Qualifications

• 6 years of natural gas operations, maintenance or support experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company-driving standards.
• Experience with PHMSA regulations and compliance programs.
• Knowledge of DOT Operator Qualification Program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with PHMSA, FERC, OSHA and state pipeline safety rules.
• Travel to field and office locations to support operations and construction personnel.
• Maintain MAOP documentation for pipeline systems.
• Identify segments requiring MAOP reconfirmation.
• Develop materials verification programs.
• Support integrity management programs per federal requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to address deficiencies.
• Participate in risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Coordinate audits and regulator inspections.
• Prepare responses to audit findings and enforcement actions.
• Track corrective actions and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop audit readiness programs and mock inspections.
• Maintain and review the Company’s O&M Plan procedures.
• Provide quality control checks on O&M records.
• Review new construction records for quality and compliance.
• Engage in special projects as assigned.
