DT Midstream is seeking an experienced engineer to ensure pipeline systems comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations. The role collaborates with operations and construction to uphold the Company's O&M Plan and MAOP program.
Travel up to 30% and work across field locations; strong regulatory knowledge and technical writing skills are required. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Codes and Regulatory and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

This engineer is responsible for ensuring the organization’s pipeline systems and operations comply with federal, state, and local pipeline safety regulations. This position will collaborate with Company operations and construction personnel to ensure a high standard of compliance with pipeline safety regulations and the Company’s Operations and Maintenance Plan. This role focuses on regulatory adherence, risk mitigation, audit readiness, and continuous improvement of pipeline integrity and safety programs. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering expertise with deep knowledge of pipeline regulations and compliance frameworks.
This position reports to Senior Manager, Codes and Regulatory. The position has primary responsibilities to support the assets throughout the company’s footprint and will occasionally require travel to other states in which Company operates. Approximately 30% overnight travel is expected.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works both in a business office setting and at a project site. While working at a project site, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including cold/hot, wet and/or humid conditions, uneven or steep terrain and may work near moving mechanical parts and/or machinery. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration (see physical requirements above). The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in the office but may become loud at the project site.
