Slusarski Excavating & Paving in Adrian, MI is seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our construction team. The candidate will install storm, sewer, and water pipelines, read blueprints, and follow project specs to ensure accurate placement and safe operation on site.

Experience with heavy equipment (dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts) and utility locating is required, along with a proven track record in pipe laying and site teamwork under safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pipe laying experience.
• Experience with storm, sanitary sewer and water pipelines.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, sanitary sewer, and storm systems.
• Operate heavy equipment (dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts) to support installation.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate pipe placement.
• Maintain pipe grades and elevations according to plans.
• Use pipe lasers for precise alignment during installation.
• Locate utilities to avoid damage during excavation.
• Collaborate with team to follow safety protocols on site.
• Maintain and care for equipment and tools.
