Job summary

PC Construction is seeking an experienced Pipelayer for water and wastewater plant projects in the Jacksonville, Florida area. You will install underground piping per drawings, using DIP and PVC with MJ and flanged joints, while upholding safety and quality on municipal infrastructure sites.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of pipelaying experience on heavy civil projects and must be able to read drawings, lift up to 50 lbs, and travel to project sites across the state if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of pipelaying on heavy civil or utility projects.
• Experience working in water or wastewater plants.
• Demonstrated ability to install DIP and PVC pipe below grade.
• Proficient at reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Lay, assemble and install underground process piping per drawings and specs.
• Install ductile iron and PVC piping below grade with MJ and flanged joints.
• Maintain safety standards and coordinate with field crews on site.
• Travel to project sites within the state as required.
